Douwe Osinga's visual poetry

Douwe Osinga's visual poetry

Addictive. Place a string, a sentence if you will, into a text box and watch as your words are replaced with image search results from 'non-evil' omniscient net overlord, Google (did you mean 'googol'?). Visual poetry in its most basic sense, yet somehow compelling. Also check the projects page, a list of no-purpose data experiments that offer engagement possibilities, poetic dialectic. Say it with a plum in your mouth. I think some interesting things could come out of investigation these methods of raw data extrapolation and interpretation.

The site belongs to a man who works for Google, an insider. I'm sure they're flagging his library books as we speak.
